Boggo Road Gaol has also proven popular for the purposes of photography and filming. In 2001, SBS completed a documentary on Boggo Road Gaol focusing on the gaol and its management. This is set to air on SBS in September of 2001. The rock band, Regurgitator, also completed the filming of the music video ‘Fat Cop’ at the gaol during 2001. The Myer Centre in Brisbane City, also recently completed a photo shoot for an upcoming product catalogue. Many students have visited the gaol to carry out filming and photography for their assessment items.

The gaol management remains committed to allowing groups and individuals’ access to the site to carry out this type of work. Provided the rules and regulations set down by management are adhered to, filming and photography at Boggo Road remains possible in most cases.
