As well as being a significant educational and historical site, Boggo Road Gaol is also available as a venue for functions and activities. The gaol has proven very popular for those that wish to host an event in an environment that is unique and offers an alternative to conventional function centres. Boggo Road has been hired for concerts, fundraisers, birthday parties, Christmas parties, weddings and receptions, and hosted a student sleepover to raise money for the 40-hour famine appeal.

Businesses have also used the gaol to host product launches, workshops, team building, and various types of seminars. The variety of events that Boggo Road has hosted is endless. Provided the integrity of the gaol and general preservation of the site in its entirety is not threatened, the management of Boggo Road welcome most forms of functions and events.
