Share your Boggo Road memories
Many people experienced life inside the walls of Boggo Road. Officers, prisoners, visitors, office staff, journalists, medical staff, religious ministers, educators... the list goes on. If you are one of those people, we would love to hear from you. Click on one of the images (left) to find out how we can help ensure your memories become a part of the Boggo Road story for future generations.
The most valuable resource that any historical site can have is the recorded memories of the people who knew it best. That is why the BRGHS are recording the stories and memories of those people with a personal experience of Boggo Road. We understand how much it means to have your say on a place like Boggo Road. If you are an ex-officer or family, an ex-prisoner or family, or someone who visited or worked at the prison in some other capacity, we would love to hear from you.
Don’t wait until it is too late. By sharing your stories with the BRGHS, your memories, thoughts and opinions will be available to future generations, and your side of the story will always be remembered. We will safely store these records as one of the most important parts of our historical collection.
